Become a certified Pilates instructor through a program built on curiosity, mastery, and care.
For nearly 20 years, Be Fitness has taught classical mat and reformer Pilates through small classes led by highly trained instructors. Our Teacher Training Program continues this legacy: a 500+ hour comprehensive certification rooted in the original work of Joseph Pilates, adapted to support diverse bodies and learning styles.
WHY BE FITNESS?
Be Fitness began offering Pilates long before it became a trend and our approach has stayed consistent: precise instruction, small classes, and an emphasis on understanding movement from the inside out.
As a locally owned and independent studio, our training is personal, immersive, and grounded. You’ll learn within the same environment our clients trust for high-quality movement instruction.
Nearly 20 years of Pilates offered at Be Fitness
Small, supportive learning environment
Customizable mentorship and hands-on guidance
A teaching approach built on respect, integrity, kindness, authenticity, and empowerment, the core values of our studio
WHY OUR PROGRAM?
Many certification programs move quickly. Ours goes deeper.
The Be Fitness Pilates Teacher Training Program is intentionally paced so you can build confidence gradually. Each level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Special Apparatus) is taught over several weeks, giving you time to absorb the material, apply it in your own body, and begin teaching with clarity and ease.
You’ll experience:
A small cohort model that provides personalized coaching
Multiple weekend intensives per module
Space for practice and repetition
A supportive learning community that grows with you
This training prepares instructors who can teach thoughtfully and safely – not just execute choreography.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Each module is a blend of lecture, movement labs, practice teaching, and hands-on mentorship.
You’ll learn:
The classical Pilates sequence and principles
Anatomy and biomechanics through a Pilates lens
Cueing techniques that support diverse bodies
Understanding of how to modify and progress clients safely
Apparatus work across reformer, mat, tower, chair, and barrel
How to structure private sessions and group classes
Professional standards, ethics, and scope of practice
By the end, you’ll understand Pilates not just as exercise, but as a system that unites breath, alignment, control, and intentional movement.
