Spin® Cycling

SPINNING® is the world’s leading indoor cycling and education brand. Our 55 minute Spin® classes include a warm up and cool down and focus on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery. Riders will work on running, jumps, climbs and sprints using various resistance and speeds set to fast-paced and fun music. Riders are in control of their own bikes and how hard they ride. Whether you’re a beginner or have been riding for years, this workout will get you moving and get your heart pumping! 

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class to set up and get fitted for your bike.

Monthly memberships are great for students who want to work on their practice on a regular basis. Memberships are valid for all class types, so be sure to mix and match! Choose the best option that fits with your schedule and how often you wish to practice.

Your membership contract automatically charges to your MindBody account on a monthly basis. You can cancel your contract at any time, however, we require a 7 days notice prior to cancellation. To set up a membership contract, please call the studio or visit our MindBody website and select Contracts under the “Online Store”. This option is not available on the MindBody Connect mobile app at this time.

Students who choose to purchase their membership out of contract on a month-to-month basis will be charged a $3 processing fee each month.

Students receive up to 20% discount when purchasing 3, 6, or 12 months at a time! Ask for more details.

Lauryssa

Lauryssa started Spinning ® about 20 years ago and got certified to teach in 2016. Since being certified, she rides at least twice a week! Her goal is to help others motivate themselves to become better in whatever aspect of life that might be. She hopes that her students feel like they got a great workout in, while pushing to improve themselves mentally, physically and emotionally. Her teaching style is a lot about connecting with the music and letting it drive you through the ups and downs of the workout. She loves that all abilities are able to ride together and participate in the same class, since modifications are offered to all levels of riding.

Lauryssa has also been a competitive swimmer for most of her life. Spinning ® has been an awesome form of cross training, and still helps her to train for triathlons, swims, runs etc. Outside of Spin ® class she loves art (photography, graphic design), Triathlons, paddleboarding, swimming, kayaking, volleyball, and just about anything that she can be competitive in.

Wanida

Wanida teaches Pilates, Yoga, Pole and Spinning at Be Fitness. She started teaching pole at Be in 2015 after falling in love with the freedom and expression in dancing. She has been practicing yoga for about 10 years and completed her RYS-200 training in 2015 and is currently enrolled in her RYS-300 training. She is also a certified personal trainer and certified in aerial yoga. She completed her Pilates Reformer Level 1 and Spin training in 2019 and plans to complete her Level 2 Pilates training in 2020.

Wanida believes that movement heals the body and mind, whether you are dancing, practicing yoga or Pilates, or doing acrobatic tricks in the air. She hopes that her students find a sense of peace and appreciation for their bodies and movements throughout class. She believes that the most important part of class is learning and loving what your body is capable of doing. She hopes to help students feel empowered and confident in their own body and mind by creating better body awareness and control. She aims to give students a safe place to explore and be themselves with no judgement so that they can lead a more authentic life both in and out of the studio.

Outside of Be, Wanida lives with her boyfriend Joe, her dog Oliver, and their cat Gamora. She is learning to play golf and has noticed a significant improvement in her game since she started practicing Pilates on a more regular basis. She also collects sneakers and loves everything Sanrio, Marvel, and Tokidoki.

Lucy

Lucy has just recently started teaching Spinning ®, but she has been taking Spin ® classes for about 7 years. She loves the intensity and the music in classes, and how you must tap into your inner strength to power through. She always come out of class feeling stronger. She tries to make things fun in her classes and accommodate all levels of students. She hopes that her students feel challenged and empowered, no matter what their level. Her favorite thing to do in Spinning ® is standing climbs. She loves to imagine that she’s climbing a mountain road and the relief of getting to the top and speeding down hall is so much fun!

Outside of Spin ® class, Lucy has been teaching economics for over a decade. She loves Lake Erie, hiking, paddleboarding, and reading anything and everything. She started Spinniing ® to hep train her for riding her bike around Lake Tahoe!
